In progress, Oil on 2 canvas panels… I’m often asked why I don’t sign my paintings on the front… For one, my fingerprints are all over every one of them lol And for two I’ve written my name on enough things as it is… But most importantly… Most of the intent behind my paintings, to remove the viewer from reality… Even if for just an instant… I think the signature would provide the opposite effect… So I sign them on the back…
