Got a good session in on Stephanie’s back yesterday… this was quite a coverup, we’ll do another good pass in the winter when the darker skin on the shoulders calms down from sun exposure… it’s crazy’s the difference in how much effect of the sun I see on skin down here vs. being home in New York… I’m realizing how much of that has subtly influenced the style of work you see down here too… there used to be a lot more regional differences in tattoo aesthetic then there are now… obviously internet has homogenized that as well as almost everything we all do…just interesting to see and experience. What else do you think has influenced the different styles we’ve seen in tattooing?
