Another of my first few oil paintings… this one was referenced from photographs that I took of baby green tree pythons that I had bred and hatched that year…
I was really playing with focal effects in endeavor to create as much depth as possible… depth field is one way to reinforce these depth effects… another way to show the eye where the important stuff is or isn’t… There are so many ways to tell the tale… i love the language of art!!!
